PROGRAMMING
GET BETTER BY DOING
Live From Raleigh is built for musicians who want more than practice alone—and who know that great music doesn’t belong to one genre.
Learn the craft. Understand the gear. Study the music. Write with other people. Record something real. Step onto the stage better prepared than you were before
Pop, shoegaze, R&B, hip-hop, prog, pop punk, indie, county, metal, ska, punk, experimental, blues, jazz, folk, grunge, post-hardcore, bedroom pop, emo, alternative. It all belongs in the room.

GO DEEPER
Not everything at Live From Raleigh needs to be a six-week class. Some things deserve an evening. Some deserve a Saturday. Some deserve a room full of musicians asking someone who's done it before, “Okay, but how do you actually do that?”

07 / SIGNATURE PROGRAM
FROM SONG TO STAGE
TAKE A SONG ALL THE WAY
From Song to Stage is a multiweek collaborative program built around the complete creative process. Participants bring an original song—or choose one to reinterpret—and work together to shape it for a live performance.
Along the way, you’ll:
• Write or select a song
• Build an arrangement with a group
• Rehearse with purpose
• Develop stagecraft and performance skills
• Perform it for a live audience
• Receive a recording of the performance
You won’t just study one part of being a musician. You’ll experience the whole arc: creating, collaborating, rehearsing, performing, and capturing something real.
